Make it a habit to have breakfast, this is because your metabolic rate is very high when you get up. Whatever food you eat will be digested so take this advantage to have healthy breakfast. A breakfast with a lot of fruits, whole meal bread, low fat milk, eggs, oat or less sugar yogurt.
No food is allowed after 7.30pm
You may try to sleep early if you are really hungry or if you are truly desperate, you may have high water content fruit or small serving of cereal.
Healthy choices of snack
Having healthy snacks like fruits, vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots), unsalted nuts, whole grains, beans, raisin.
Have an exercise timetable
It helps you to discipline yourself and follow the timetable for exercising.
Setting a realistic weight loss goal
Do remember, dieting results don't happen over night, it takes time. In order to keep you motivated and carry on with your losing weight plan, you must first have an achievable goal. Example, reduce 2 pounds for the first and second week then increase gradually.
Enjoy it
Treat your weight loss plan as a fun activity.
Start an exercise program with a activity that you like: swimming, dancing, hiking or cycling, you may plan it with friend. It will give you extra motivation if you have company and are able to encourage each other to achieve weight loss goal.
